Job Description
Government hospital in UAE is seeking a highly experienced consultant brain injury medicine (Western qualified). This is an exceptional opportunity to join a renowned healthcare organization specializing in neurological rehabilitation and complex patient care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery, functional independence, and quality of life.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
Western board certification in brain injury medicine, physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R), neurology, or a related specialty with fellowship/subspecialty training in brain injury medicine (American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification).
Minimum 5 years of post-board certification experience as a consultant in brain injury medicine or neurorehabilitation.
Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH consultant license.
Extensive experience managing traumatic and acquired brain injury patients across acute, post-acute, and rehabilitation settings.
Expertise in neurological rehabilitation, cognitive disorders, spasticity management, and multidisciplinary care planning.
Excellent clinical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a specialized rehabilitation center, neuroscience institute, or JCI-accredited healthcare facility is highly preferred.
