We're seeking talented team members with an entrepreneurial mindset to provide first-class client experiences within the Italian market of our EMEA Private Banking business. As a Wealth Advisor, you'll be part of a team of specialists assisting clients with wealth management, including tax and estate planning guidance. You'll also help clients develop family governance strategies and act as the primary resource for clients with complex long-term needs. This role offers the opportunity to challenge yourself and elevate your career.

As an International Private Bank, Wealth Advisor within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, you will be part of a dynamic, diverse team serving the UHNW Spanish market. You will have the opportunity to provide personalized, comprehensive financial solutions to UHNW families across Spain. Your role will involve assisting clients in planning for their wealth, developing family governance strategies, and providing information on tax and estate planning. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining client relationships, developing new business ideas, and collaborating with professional advisors. This role requires domestic travel and the ability to deliver educational presentations to various audiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Spain-based clients in developing family wealth, business, and family governance strategies.
  • Provide guidance on effective structures to accommodate the complex needs of large families with wealth distributed across various asset classes and currencies.
  • Assist prospective clients planning about upcoming liquidity events.
  • Recommend tailor-made solutions to meet client requirements across generations and jurisdictions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and their advisors regarding asset protection, wealth structuring and tax questions related to assets held with the Private Bank.
  • Cultivate relationships with professional advisors (PAs) serving international private clients, principally attorneys and accountants, and coordinate the team’s strategy for PA outreach.
  • Deliver in-market educational presentations to internal and external audiences, including prospects, clients, and PAs.

 

Required Skills, Experience and Qualification 

  • Client engagements skills, to earn client trust and confidence with a fiduciary approach. 
  • A proven track record in assisting UHNW Spanish families in wealth planning, protection, family governance, and family office strategies. 
  • The most suitable candidates will have gained experience working with clients at financial institutions, law firms, tax advisory practices, and consulting firms.
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products. 
  • Ability to partner with clients’ other advisors, such as their notaries, attorneys and accountants.
  • Relevant qualifications may be considered a plus.
  • Ability to craft articles and white papers  for both internal and external use.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
