The Director of Design Standards (Facades & Structures) is responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously enhancing the design standards framework for all stadium, arena, and major sports infrastructure projects across the portfolio.This role serves as the technical authority for stadium structures, long-span roofs, building envelopes, façades, and spectator venue engineering systems, ensuring that all projects achieve world-class levels of safety, performance, durability, sustainability, architectural excellence, and operational efficiency.The successful candidate will develop and maintain design standards, technical specifications, performance requirements, and compliance frameworks that are applied consistently across multiple sports assets, while supporting project teams through design reviews, technical governance, innovation initiatives, and independent assurance processes.Design Standards LeadershipDevelop, maintain, and govern the Sports Design Standards for stadiums, arenas, training facilities, and associated sports infrastructure.Establish minimum technical requirements for: Stadium structuresLong-span roof systemsRetractable roof technologiesFaçade and building envelope systemsSpectator seating bowl structuresStructural resilience and redundancyBuilding movement and dynamic performanceDurability and lifecycle performanceTechnical Authority & AssuranceAct as the subject matter expert for façade and structural systems across all sports developmentsStadium & Arena ExpertiseAdvise on the design and delivery of: FIFA-compliant stadiums, Multi-purpose arena, Athletic stadium, Indoor sports venuesGovernance & ComplianceInnovation & SustainabilityStakeholder Management
