Requires a Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business, Engineering, or Aviation, and a mandatory ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification. A minimum of 7 years of experience in business continuity or emergency preparedness within aviation, catering, logistics, manufacturing, or complex operational environments is essential, with a proven track record of building or upgrading a BCMS in a 24/7 industrial setting.
Description
ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and maintenance of the Company's BCMS in accordance with ISO 22301, NCEMA 7000, industry related obligations, and internal policies, ensuring documentation and compliance requirements are up to date.Assist in developing and updating the BCM Policy, procedures, and governance documents in line with the regulatory, aviation, and other applicable requirements.Coordinate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) activities, ensuring accurate identification of critical activities risks and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).Support the development and periodic review of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Crisis Management Plans, and site response plans, and coordinate with IT on disaster recovery alignment.Provide support to the Crisis Management Team (CMT) by maintaining readiness of contact lists, communication protocols, and response tools during incidents and exercises.Assist in planning and execution of BCM exercises including tabletop sessions, simulations, and drills, and track observations, gaps, and follow-up actions to support continuous improvement of plans.Develop and support the delivery of BCM and Crisis Management awareness and training sessions to ensure everyone, at different levels, understands their role during a disruption.Work with the Procurement and relevant stakeholders to assess the BCM capabilities of critical suppliers and evaluate alternative sourcing strategies.Coordinate with Internal & External Communications teams and other support functions to facilitate effective communication during incidents/ crisis.Assist in liaising with external stakeholders, including Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, by supporting audit preparation, documentation, and coordination for regulatory reviews and external engagements.QualificationsEducation QualificationBachelor's degree in risk management, Business, Engineering, Aviation or a related fieldISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor (Mandatory).NCEMA7000, CBCI (by BCI) or CBCP (by DRI International) or equivalent is preferred.Familiarity with NCEMA 7000, ISO 31000, and integrated management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001and ISO 45001.Work ExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in business continuity, or emergency preparedness, within aviation, catering, logistics, manufacturing or complex operational environments.Proven track record of building or significantly upgrading a BCMS in a complex, 24/7 industrial environment.Exposure to working with Integrated Management Systems. Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management experience.SkillsAbility to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex technical risks for operational staff.Workshop facilitation across multicultural workforce with an ability to translate risk into operational language.Possesses a builder mindset, with the ability to create and implement processes from scratch while thriving in ambiguous and evolving environments.Strong analytical and reporting skills.
