This role focuses on building reliable, secure, and user-friendly software solutions that support academic operations, administrative processes, and student services. Previous experience with Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Training and guidance will be provided when required. However, the candidate must demonstrate a willingness and proactive attitude toward learning data-visualization tools and supporting institutional reporting requirements.Long-term Development ResponsibilitiesAs AIU continues to grow, members of the IT team may be required to support different technology initiatives based on institutional priorities. Technology is continuously evolving, particularly in the area of artificial intelligence. Therefore, a willingness and aptitude to learn independently, develop new skills, and take on new responsibilities are essential for this position. Over time, and with the support and guidance of the Senior Application Developer, the candidate may assist with:Developing mobile versions of existing PHP web applications using the same backend systems, databases, and APIs.Integrating artificial intelligence capabilities into existing web and mobile applications.Supporting privately hosted AI models and local large language model solutions while maintaining institutional data privacy and controlling operational costs.Previous experience in mobile development or artificial intelligence would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
