Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Stock Controller, Stores Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Experience receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, stock control and general warehouse operations.
Ability to handle goods safely and carry out physical work, including lifting, moving and loading items when required.
Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate stock and delivery records.
Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse management systems, inventory software or handheld scanners.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy warehouse environment.
Reliable, punctual, team-oriented and willing to take a hands-on approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, drivers, suppliers and other departments.
