Description
Responsibilities:Manage the preparation of commercial proposals, defining scope, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring clear communication, swift issue resolution, and protection of client interests.Coordinate with technical and operations teams to schedule and configure equipment for 2D and 3D model tests.Oversee test execution, track progress against milestones and budgets, and implement corrective actions as needed.Review and approve instrumentation layouts, data acquisition protocols, and analysis methodologies.Analyze test data to identify anomalies, verify integrity, and confirm reproducibility.Authorize draft and final project reports, certifying that conclusions are fully supported by the data.Enforce health, safety, and quality assurance procedures across all testing activities.Line-manage and mentor senior and graduate engineers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.Represent NMDC at conferences and workshops, presenting findings and sharing best practices.Qualifications and Experience:Master's Degree in Civil, Coastal, or Maritime Engineering, Physics, or Oceanography is required, or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.Minimum of 12 years experience in Engineering and Design within related industries, including at least 5 years in a Physical Modelling Hydraulic Laboratory.
