Requirements
Essential qualifications include a degree in an HSES-related field (or equivalentExperience) and over 8-9 years of HSE experience in the energy industry. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is required, along with training as an ISO standards lead auditor (9001, 14001, or 45001). Candidate should possess strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, be conversant with local and international HSES laws, and be able to work both as a team member and leader. Responsibilities include policy interpretation, regulatory compliance, training, audits, incident investigations, and ensuring HSES program effectiveness across the organization.

Job Overview:
The Manager HSES requires a comprehensive understanding of HSES concepts, theories, principles, and other related disciplines. The Manager of HSES must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the HSES discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager HSES impacts the level of service and the HSES team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan should guide decisions made by the Manager HSES.
