Job PurposeThe IT Infrastructure & Network Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end management of the organization's IT infrastructure, including virtual and physical servers, network and security systems, user access, and building systems such as CCTV and biometric access control. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance of all IT systems while coordinating hardware and software procurement to support business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesServer & Virtualization ManagementHandle, monitor, and reconfigure virtual machines (VMs) to ensure optimal performance and availability.Configure, manage, and maintain physical servers, including installation, patching, and lifecycle management.Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure.User Access & File SystemsCreate, manage, and maintain user accounts and access permissions.Administer Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and integration across systems.Manage backup file systems, file sharing environments, and SharePoint sites, ensuring data integrity and availability.Network & SecurityImplement, configure, and manage firewall systems to protect organizational network resources.Manage and maintain office floor network infrastructure, including switches, cabling, and Wi-Fi coverage.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.Physical Security SystemsConfigure and manage the CCTV system, including camera setup, storage, and footage retrieval.Manage the access control and biometric systems, including user enrollment and troubleshooting.Domain & Directory ServicesManage domain services, including Active Directory (or equivalent), group policies, and domain-joined devices.IT Security ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access, and respond to incidents promptly.Manage endpoint protection, antivirus/anti-malware solutions, and patch management across servers and workstations.Conduct periodic security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans, and coordinate remediation actions.Ensure data protection, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness in line with organizational and compliance requirements.Maintain security documentation, incident logs, and reports for management and audit purposes.Procurement CoordinationCoordinate procurement of IT hardware and software, including vendor liaison, quotations, and delivery tracking.Maintain an inventory of IT assets and licenses.
