Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Science (Master's preferred) and hold certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, OSHA, IOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor. A minimum of 10 years of HSSE experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role within FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sectors in the UAE/GCC, is required. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations (DM, DCD) and international standards (NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is essential.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HSSE Leader to drive the organization's Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental agenda across multiple operations in the UAE. This role is pivotal in shaping HSSE strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening governance frameworks, and embedding a strong safety culture within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Lead and drive the overall HSSE strategy aligned with business objectives and UAE regulatory requirementsEnsure full compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, NFPA, OSHA, and ISO standardsEstablish and continuously enhance HSSE policies, procedures, and governance frameworksOversee HIRA and JHA processes to proactively identify and mitigate risksMonitor and improve key safety metrics (ASR, AFR, TRIR)Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actionsConduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across operationsDrive behavioral safety programs and strengthen organizational safety cultureManage emergency preparedness, crisis response, and evacuation planningEnsure effective management and communication of MSDS across all sitesLead environmental and sustainability compliance initiativesDevelop and lead the HSSE team, including capability building and workforce planningCollaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external regulatory authoritiesEnsure workforce training and awareness on HSSE standards and best practicesStay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementationDesired Candidate Profile :Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Environmental Science (Master's preferred)Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma / OSHA / IOSH / ISO Lead Auditor10+ years of HSSE experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role within FMCG / manufacturing / industrial sectors in UAE/GCCStrong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations (DM, DCD) and international standards (NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance managementDemonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skillsTrack record of improving safety performance and embedding a strong safety cultureEmiratization Role – Open to UAE Nationals Only
