Qualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. Recognized postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine / Sports & Exercise Medicine / Orthopedics / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or an equivalent relevant specialty qualification. Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred. Strong experience in sports injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. Excellent clinical judgment and musculoskeletal examination skills. Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Sports Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sports injury management and a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for athletes and active individuals. Manage acute and chronic sports injuries involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones. Evaluate conditions such as sprains, strains, tendinopathies, ligament injuries, stress injuries, and overuse syndromes. Perform and interpret appropriate imaging and diagnostic investigations. Perform point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound where appropriately trained. Provide ultrasound-guided injections and other minimally invasive treatments within the scope of expertise. Coordinate rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, and other specialists. Develop injury-prevention and return-to-sport programs. Assess patients for safe return to training and competitive activities. Provide guidance on exercise, conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
