Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, majoring in Accounting.- 10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and finance, including a minimum of 5 years' experience working inside manufacturing plants.- Direct background in Carpet manufacturing or Textile production ecosystems.- Advanced professional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or an MBA in finance are highly preferred.- Proven track record of successfully migrating or building a manufacturing cost module during an ERP implementation.- Deep hands-on proficiency with Odoo ERP (highly preferred) or systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.- Mastery of Standard Costing, Variance Analysis, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and manufacturing inventory valuation.- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for building real-time cost dashboards and advanced MS Excel capabilities.- Solid command over manufacturing structures, specifically BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, work centers, and machine capacity tracking.- Has strong strategic leadership skills.- Has strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.- Has strong fact-based influence skills.- Has strong problem-solving & conflict resolution skills.
Description
- Build, configure, and maintain the company's cost accounting framework within the Odoo ERP system to optimize automated manufacturing tracking.- Establish, review, and continuously update Standard Cost systems and comprehensive Cost Sheets for all product lines.- Audit and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and Routing structures in close coordination with the production team to ensure accurate material and labor allocations.- Monitor and analyze manufacturing variances monthly (material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead absorption), identifying root causes of inefficiencies.- Lead cross-functional cost-reduction campaigns across the plant floor, identifying waste, lowering scrap/scrap rates, and enhancing overall profitability.- Oversee the Stock Controller Accountant to ensure strict inventory valuations, accurate stock counts, and alignment between physical inventory and ERP data.- Supervise the production accountant manager and the plant-floor production controllers to ensure all daily/weekly shop-floor logs, machinery run-times, and manufacturing orders are closed accurately.- Prepare and present detailed monthly cost, margin, and variance reports directly to the plant manager and executive management.- Build, linking financial findings to operational decision-making.
