As we continue to grow and develop, we are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and experienced primary teacher to join our team on a maternity cover contract from 1 October 2026 until the end of the academic year.

The Role
We are looking for an outstanding primary teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a primary class from 1 October 2026, providing continuity, stability and high-quality teaching for the remainder of the academic year.
You will be joining a collaborative primary team and will be expected to contribute positively to the wider life of the school, working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and appropriately challenging lessons in line with the British curriculum.
Establish a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Set high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
Use assessment effectively to identify student needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
Monitor and track student progress, ensuring appropriate intervention and support where required.
Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional learning needs and EAL.
Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
Work collaboratively as part of the primary team.
Contribute to school events, enrichment activities and the wider life of Smart Vision School.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, student wellbeing and professional conduct.
Support the school's vision, mission and commitment to continuous improvement.
