Job Purpose:Lead and manage complex customer projects from order initiation through manufacturing, delivery, commissioning, and post-shipment support, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer requirements. The role will also provide technical leadership in the design and execution of mechanical systems for data center and mission-critical facilities, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:Lead mechanical design for data center projects, including HVAC, chilled water, cooling, ventilation, and thermal management systems.Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.Develop and optimize cooling strategies, including CRAC/CRAH, liquid cooling, free cooling, and containment systems.Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and thermal modelling.Ensure designs comply with project requirements, international standards, and data center uptime/Tier requirements.Manage the complete customer project lifecycle, from order preparation and engineering through manufacturing release, shipment, commissioning, and post-shipment support.Review vendor submittals and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning.Manage project planning, scheduling, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.Coordinate with customers, vendors, product teams, engineering, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.Resolve technical issues, clarify exceptions, and ensure alignment between drawings, specifications, BOMs, and site requirements.Lead teams effectively, drive collaboration, and ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.7 years of relevant engineering/project experience.Strong experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, HVAC, cooling, or related infrastructure.Proven experience in mechanical design, engineering review, and project execution.Strong knowledge of cooling systems, thermal management, and international engineering standards.Excellent project management, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within time, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
