Requires an MS in Welding or a BS Degree (4-year degree) or IWE or EWE in Welding Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, along with 5+ years of direct experience in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy/Materials within the Fabrication/Construction Industry. A Welding Inspection qualification and TQM education are preferred.

Job Overview:

The Senior Welding Engineer shall provide deliverables from Welding Engineering and running of development projects or tasks and provide metallurgical consultative service to operating groups (Fabrication / Marine). The Senior Welding Engineer liaise with Operations Manager (Fabrication / Marine), Discipline Managers, PMT, Customers, Operations/Field Engineers, QC/NDT Engineers, Client representatives, Certifying Authorities, Other Technical Agencies (for e.g., TWI, DNVGL).
