Role Summary:The Area Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating visually compelling and on-brand store displays, ensuring that products are presented in a way that maximizes sales and enhances the customer experience. This role works across multiple stores or locations within a designated area to ensure visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to, seasonal and promotional displays are executed effectively, and the store's visual standards are consistently met.Role Responsibilities: 1. Visual Merchandising Implementation:o Design and implement in-store visual merchandising displays that reflect the brand's aesthetic and meet corporate guidelines.o Collaborate with store managers and sales teams to plan and execute displays for promotions, seasonal launches, and new product arrivals.o Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed to drive customer interest and optimize product visibility.2. Brand Consistency:o Maintain visual consistency across all stores within the designated area, ensuring all locations meet company visual standards.o Implement updates to store displays based on visual merchandising guidelines and store-specific needs.3. Store Visits & Merchandising Audits:o Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of displays, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards.o Monitor the condition and upkeep of displays and store fixtures, making adjustments as necessary.o Provide feedback and training to store teams on visual merchandising techniques.4. Training & Development:o Provide training to store teams on visual merchandising principles, display techniques, and best practices.o Mentor store staff on maintaining visual standards, product placement, and maximizing space efficiency.5. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:o Work closely with sales, marketing, and retail teams to develop promotions and in-store campaigns that align with the company's overall marketing strategies.o Align store display setups with ongoing marketing initiatives, including seasonal and holiday campaigns.6. Inventory & Display Materials Management:o Oversee the organization and maintenance of visual merchandising tools, props, and materials.o Ensure the timely replenishment of visual elements to support new displays and marketing efforts.7. Sales & Customer Impact Analysis:o Analyze sales performance and customer traffic data to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies.o Adjust displays and product placements based on performance data, customer feedback, and seasonal trends.8. Reporting:o Provide regular feedback and reports to the Visual Merchandising Manager on store conditions, display effectiveness, and any issues encountered.o Document all visual merchandising changes and updates, maintaining an organized record of past and current displays.Functional / Technical Competencies: o Exceptional creativity and an eye for design and detail.o Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.o Ability to analyze sales data and consumer behavior to adjust displays for maximum impact.o Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.o Proficient in visual merchandising software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.. Physical Requirements:o Ability to lift and move display materials and merchandise.o Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.Work Environment:.
