Job Summary:The Site Technical OAice Engineer manages and coordinates all on-site technical activities. This role bridges the gap between engineering designs, construction teams, and consultants. The primary goal is to ensure project execution complies with approved shop drawings, contract specifications, and budgetary controls.Key Responsibilities:Shop Drawings: Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed architectural and structural shop drawings while resolving any MEP conflicts.Quantity Surveying (QS): Ability to review and prepare quantity surveying tables submitted by the contractor, and compare contractual quantities against actual, asbuilt quantities executed on site.Financial Invoices: Audit contractors’ invoices after consultant review, and review contractors monthly progress payment requests. Document Control: Manage and track Request for Information (RFIs), Material Submittals, and approvals, ensuring the accurate update of Design & As-Built drawings.Variations & Claims: Study design changes, calculate variation orders, and prepare technical reports. Site Support & Coordination: Provide immediate engineering solutions to the site execution team and coordinate directly with the consultant to resolve field issues.
