Job Purpose:Responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling service and manufacturing activities across Oil & Gas, Motors, Transformers, and industrial manufacturing. The role ensures effective utilization of manpower, materials, workshop capacity, and equipment while meeting customer delivery dates, quality standards, and operational targets.Key Responsibilities:Planning & SchedulingDevelop master and detailed plans for service, repair, overhaul, testing, and manufacturing activities.Prepare weekly, monthly, and long-term workload and capacity plans.Establish priorities based on customer commitments, equipment criticality, material availability, and workshop capacity.Coordinate schedules for Oil & Gas equipment, motors, transformers, and manufacturing jobs.Monitor planned versus actual progress and implement recovery plans when delays occur.Maintain accurate job completion forecasts and delivery dates.Resource & Capacity PlanningPlan manpower requirements by trade, skill, workshop, and project.Coordinate resource allocation with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Service teams.Monitor workshop, machine, testing-bay, and equipment capacity.Identify capacity constraints and recommend overtime, outsourcing, subcontracting, or resource reallocation.Support workforce and annual capacity planning based on expected workload.Materials & Procurement CoordinationReview Bills of Materials, spare-parts requirements, and material availability.Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure materials are available according to the production/service schedule.Monitor long-lead items and critical spare parts.Highlight material shortages that may impact customer delivery.Service & Project ControlMonitor all active service and manufacturing jobs from receipt through completion and delivery.Track milestones including:InspectionDismantlingEngineering assessmentRepairRewindingMachiningAssemblyTestingPaintingFinal inspectionDispatchConduct regular planning and progress meetings with relevant departments.Issue progress reports and highlight risks, delays, and corrective actions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.Professional certification in PMP, Primavera P6, Planning & Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.
