Must have 6+ years of experience as an occupational therapist, with at least 4 years in a specialty area like Neuro, MSK, ICU, Orthopaedics, or Paediatric Rehab. Experience with children with neurological and complex rehabilitation needs, including Sensory Integration assessment, seating and positioning, and splinting is essential. Experience in a CARF/JCI-accredited setting and DOH/DHA-compliant licensure with BLS and paediatric-relevant certifications (PALS/ACLS) are also required.

This role requires an awareness of their responsibilities within the patient's care plan, along with a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, evidence-based practice, and Occupational Therapy services across the lifespan. The Occupational Therapist must also adhere to M42 and comply with DOH/DHA policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.ResponsibilitiesInterprets referrals and conducts initial evaluations to identify and diagnose physiological, psychological, and cognitive issues.Develops, delivers, and modifies treatment plans tailored to the individual's physiological, cognitive, and psychological needs.Performs ongoing risk assessments and adheres to safety measures during therapy sessions.Implements strategies to promote client self-management and health education to enhance overall well-being.Completes administrative tasks related to patient care, including documentation, billing, and insurance submissions, in compliance with policies.Works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care throughout the entire treatment process.Participates in clinical handovers, inventory maintenance, marketing activities, and defines patient-centered goals, ensuring informed consent and understanding of treatment plans.QualificationsBSc or MSc in Occupational Therapist, plus advanced specialty certifications (SI, Bobath, Mulligan, Spinal Manipulation)6+ years occupational therapist experience, including 4+ years in a specialty area such as Neuro, MSK, ICU, Orthopaedics, or Paediatric RehabExperience working with children with neurological and complex rehabilitation needs.Demonstrated experience in:Sensory Integration assessment and interventionSeating and positioningSplinting and upper limb managementExperience in a CARF/JCI‑accredited hospital or rehabilitation settingDOH/DHA‑compliant licensure with BLS, and paediatric‑relevant certifications such as PALS/ACLS
