Requirements
The Center Manager requires a Bachelor's Degree in medicine, a formal qualification in the medical field, and a Diploma/Master's degree in a core branch of Medicine, Egyptian Fellowship, or an MBA in a Medical Related field. Essential professional experience includes a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in supervisory and people management. Experience in blood banking, a GxP regulated environment, and quality standards is also required. Desired experience includes cGMP. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and strong personal skills including leadership, emotional intelligence, decision-making, resourcefulness, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, professionalism, customer service, organization, and analytical skills are essential.

Job Objective :The Center Manager (CM) acts as the general manager for a GEPD plasma Donation Center (DC), responsible for managing and optimizing the whole operations related to the DC including financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel, systems, supplies, equipment and other infrastructurefacility-related controls. CM has the overall accountability for the daily operations, staff-related activities, quality control, compliance with all applicable policies & regulations, optimize operational efficiency and establishes a work environment that foster operational excellence.Key responsibility :People Management & Development:Establish a work environment that foster operational excellence.Ensure all employees are properly, timely, and efficiently trained on the relevant technical areas.Provide regular feedback and coaching for centers employees.Develop & retain talents, through regular meetings, goal check-ins, development plans, etc.Administer regular check-ins and year-end performance review & development plans, etc.Assist in management of the recruiting process.Support and conduct teams trainings.Leading the periodic medicaloperational meetings.Serve as subject matter expert for operational-related policies and procedures, Plasma Donation System and Plasma Payment System.Operations management:Supervise the operations within the center.Monitor donor recruitment and retention, ensure efficient donor flow, and implement donor retention improvement and corrective action plans.Attaining donation goals with the highest level of quality and compliance.Monitor net yields and implement improvement plans.Perform analysis of related data to promote efficient operations. Proactive operational processes enhancement and risk management.Oversees product and biohazard waste shipments: Ensures shipments meet regulatory specifications and product release requirements from the donor center; ensures accurate labeling and documentation; and authorizes final shipment.Resolve related facility issues and manage inquiries for facility information.Manage all aspects of financial oversight; setting annual budget and ensure center meetsmonthly financial targets.Provide leadership to ensure donor retention with high customer service levels.Create organizational culture and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivityOperate the center and manage employees to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.Provide strategic planning for donor center growth.With the marketing team, provide strategic inputs for marketing plans, follow up on execution, provide analytics and insights for optimization.Provide publicinstitutional presentations for awareness and donor recruitment activitiesEstablish partnership with relevant governmental and private entities for brand equity and donors recruitment.Quality & Compliance:Ensure that the center is operating with high compliance level to companys policies, procedures and regulations.Deviation management and CAPA development with timely implementation.Manage centers audit processes and help to resolve any related issues.Ensure timely response and closure to audit observations.Fulfills all responsibilities as defined by Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) for Responsible Person of a plasma collection center.Recommend changes and improvements to SOPs.Work closely with the center quality team to enhance the operational compliance and ensure that the proper risk mitigation plans are in place.Back up for Center Physician:Part of the qualification for being a certified CM, is the onboarding and certification on center physician role, serving as backup at any time to fulfilling the business needsDonor acceptance and deferral according to the relevant policies and procedures.Observe and coach the donor center technicians and phlebotomists.Donor counseling to individuals with unacceptable results, Management of Donor Adverse Event Reactions and the appropriate level of care.Timely review of accumulated data to confirm established donor suitability, donor safety, and process enhancement plans.Recommend changes and updates to the center procedures.Provide education sessions to the center medical staff as needed.Learn, understand and be independent working with the PDS (Plasma Donor system) as it relates to the duties and responsibilities of this position.Provide aggregated medical data and insights to the medical director that in turns help in improving the center performance.Academic experience required :Essential:Bachelors Degree in medicine.Formal Qualification in the medical field.Diploma/masters degree in a core branch of Medicine, Egyptian Fellowship, or MBA in a Medical Related field.Professional Experience Required :Essential:Minimum 8 years of relevant experienceSupervisory and people management experience for at least 3 years.Blood bank related experience.Experience in a GxP regulated environment and Quality standards.Desired:Experience in cGMP.Computing Skills :Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.Personal Skills :Leadership.Emotional intelligence.Assertiveness & decision-making ability.Resourcefulness and proactivity.Strong communication skills.Critical thinking and problem solving.Teamwork and collaboration.Professionalism and strong work ethic.Excellent customer service.Organized and able to manage time effectively.Analytical.interpersonal skills.Ability to work within a highly regulated, labor intensive, fast paced medical environment.Ability to plan and execute activities for the improvement of overall operations.Languages :Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
