Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Draftsman, MEP BIM Modeller or similar role.Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination.Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and detailed layouts.Experience working with BIM models and multidisciplinary coordination.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Draftsman / MEP BIM Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical drafting and BIM modelling, with hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and a solid understanding of MEP systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation.Develop and modify electrical models using Revit MEP.Prepare 2D drawings and technical details using AutoCAD.Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications.Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows.Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems.Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions.Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required.
