Job purpose
Reporting to the VP Investor Relations, support in the planning and execution of ADNOC Drilling's investor relations programme, ensuring clear, accurate, timely and consistent communication with shareholders, analysts and other capital market stakeholders. The role prepares high-quality investor materials, coordinates quarterly results communications, supports investor engagement activities, engages with analysts, monitors market and analyst feedback, and helps maintain a transparent and compliant dialogue with the investment community. The role contributes to the company's equity story, market positioning and investor engagement agenda, while ensuring all external communications are aligned with approved financial disclosures, corporate messaging, governance requirements and regulatory expectations.
Job specific accountabilities
Investor relations planning and execution
Support the head of department in developing and delivering the annual IR strategy and calendar, including quarterly results, investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, site visits and other investor engagement activities.
Prepare investor feedback, market intelligence and perception updates for review by the VP IR and, where required, senior stakeholders.
Track IR activity and IR performance indicators (KPIs), investor interactions and key engagement outcomes to support reporting on the effectiveness of the IR programme.
Investor & analyst engagement
Act as a day-to-day contact for sell-side analysts, handling routine enquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner and escalating sensitive or material matters to the VP Investor Relations.
Coordinate and participate in investor engagement activities, including quarterly results calls, roadshows, investor conferences, one-on-one meetings and site visits, ensuring appropriate preparation and follow-up.
Support approved investor targeting and analyst engagement initiatives by maintaining investor data, tracking feedback and helping identify engagement opportunities.
Financial communication & investor materials
Prepare and coordinate accurate, consistent and high-quality investor communications materials, including results presentations, factsheets, investor updates, annual report inputs, website content, Q&A packs and briefing notes.
Support the development of clear and credible equity messaging and investment case materials, ensuring consistency with approved financial disclosures and corporate messaging.
Support the preparation and coordination of market announcements, results materials and investor communications in line with approved governance, regulatory and disclosure processes, escalating complex or potentially material matters to VP IR and authorised stakeholders.
Market intelligence & analysis
Monitor and analyse share price performance, trading activity, peer performance, analyst research, consensus estimates, sector trends and broader macroeconomic developments relevant to the company.
Prepare regular market intelligence updates, investor feedback summaries and analyst sentiment reports for review by the VP IR before dissemination to senior stakeholders.
Provide analytical input into investor messaging, quarterly results preparation and capital markets communication materials from an investor perspective.
Support and, where appropriate, lead ad hoc analytical projects requested by the VP IR, the Executive Management or the Board, including peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, shareholder and market perception assessments, capital allocation reviews, strategic transaction analysis, and other capital markets-related initiatives.
Stakeholder coordination
Work closely with Finance, Strategy, Legal, Company Secretary, Corporate Communications, ESG, Treasury, external financial communications advisors, and operational teams to coordinate inputs and ensure investor-facing materials are accurate and consistent with approved messaging.
Support the preparation of VP IR and other executives for investor-facing events by preparing briefing materials, Q&A packs, talking points and follow-up notes, as required and through the line manager.
Reports
Prepare daily and periodic IR reports, activity updates, market feedback summaries and investor engagement dashboards for review by the VP IR and onward use with senior stakeholders and Board of Directors where required.
Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills
Minimum qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Investor Relations. Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent is preferred. Additional training in capital markets, financial analysis, disclosure, corporate governance or investor relations would be an advantage.
Minimum experience & knowledge & skills
10+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, financial communications, investment banking, capital markets or a listed-company finance environment. Experience in a listed company, major corporate, financial institution, equity research house or investor relations advisory firm is preferred. Prior exposure to senior executives, investors and analysts is required; supervisory or project coordination experience is preferred but should not imply full departmental leadership. Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent drafting skills for investor-facing and executive-level materials. Must be computer literate. Mandatory proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, AI tools. Proficiency in Bloomberg, market-data or investor-relations tools and CRMs is preferred.
