Requirements
Requirements MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. Recognized postgraduate qualification / Board Certification in Plastic Surgery. Consultant-level qualification recognized by the relevant UAE licensing authority. Relevant post-specialization experience in Plastic, Reconstructive and/or Aesthetic Surgery. Strong experience in performing a broad range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Demonstrated expertise in aesthetic surgery is highly desirable. Strong surgical judgment, clinical decision-making, and patient-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Our leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join its surgical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical care while maintaining high standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Current UAE roles commonly seek consultant-level qualifications with experience across aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluations. Diagnose and manage patients requiring plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical procedures. Develop individualized surgical and treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. Perform a broad range of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures according to qualifications, experience, and approved clinical privileges. Perform procedures involving facial aesthetics, breast surgery, body contouring, reconstructive surgery, trauma reconstruction, and soft-tissue procedures where appropriately qualified. Manage complex surgical cases and post-operative complications. Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care and long-term follow-up. Counsel patients regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, benefits, expected outcomes, and recovery. Obtain appropriate informed consent before procedures. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, oncologists, ENT specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, orthopedic specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, operative notes, and clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and facility policies. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education. Contribute to the development and growth of the plastic and aesthetic surgery services within the facility.
