Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, HSE, or Construction with a minimum of 10 years of oil & gas experience, preferably in onshore production facilities or EPC projects. Must have at least 5 years of experience in Permit Issuer / Area Authority / PTW supervision and possess a valid ADNOC-approved Permit to Work / WMS certification, H2S Awareness, and First Aid/Fire Fighting certifications. Demonstrable experience on ADNOC Onshore projects is highly desirable.

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Permit Issuance Supervisor with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

The Permit Issuance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and controlling the Permit-to-Work (PTW) process for ADNOC Onshore project activities. The position ensures that work is authorized, coordinated, and executed safely in accordance with ADNOC Work Management System (WMS), PTW requirements, approved project procedures, and applicable UAE HSE requirements.

The role provides supervision to Permit Issuers and coordinates with ADNOC Area Authorities, Asset Approval Authorities, Job Performers, Performing Authorities, construction teams, operations, HSE, and other stakeholders to ensure effective control of simultaneous and high-risk activities.
