This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and inspection of CNC machines, primarily lathes and milling machines, to produce quality parts within close tolerances. The Machinist will study and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine setup requirements and machining sequences. They will also be responsible for detecting and adjusting for equipment malfunctions, operating a forklift, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of their work area and equipment. A night shift differential of $3.50 is offered.

Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment. Must have advanced knowledge of reading drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerancing, along with proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and understanding various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts. Basic math skills are also necessary.
