Description
We are looking for an Area Contracting Manager to manage and expand our hotel portfolio within an assigned geographic area. The role will be responsible for developing strong relationships with hotels and accommodation partners, negotiating competitive commercial agreements, and ensuring a strong and attractive hotel product for our customers.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the hotel market, excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills, and experience working with hotels, hospitality partners, or travel/OTA businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and onboard new hotels and accommodation partners within the assigned area.Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners and key decision-makers.Negotiate contracts, rates, commissions, availability, promotions, and commercial terms with hotels.Manage the contracting process from initial negotiation through contract signing and activation.Ensure contracted rates and conditions are competitive and aligned with market requirements.Identify opportunities to expand hotel inventory and improve the overall product offering.Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and hotel performance.Negotiate special deals, promotions, packages, and exclusive rates when applicable.Work closely with Product, Supply, Revenue, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth hotel activation and availability.Review hotel performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Resolve commercial or contractual issues with hotel partners in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of contracts, rates, commercial terms, and partner information.Conduct regular market visits and partner meetings when required.Contribute to achieving area targets related to hotel supply, revenue, competitiveness, and partner growth.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.3+ years of experience in hotel contracting, hotel partnerships, supplier management, business development, or a similar role within the travel/hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of the hotel and hospitality market.Proven experience in commercial negotiations and contract management.Strong understanding of hotel rates, commissions, availability, promotions, and commercial agreements.Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of OTA, hotel distribution, or online travel business models is preferred.Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.Willingness to travel within the assigned area when required.
