Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, surgeons, nurses, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and surgical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of urological conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Perform urological procedures and surgical interventions according to subspecialty expertise and facility privileges.
Manage conditions including urinary tract disorders, kidney and bladder conditions, prostate disease, urinary stones, and male urological health concerns.
Evaluate surgical candidates, develop individualised treatment plans, obtain informed consent, and provide appropriate perioperative and postoperative care.
Collaborate with nephrology, oncology, radiology, emergency medicine, intensive care, and other multidisciplinary teams when required.
Provide patient counselling regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery, and long-term urological health.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support infection control, patient safety, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
