External Job DescriptionThe Industrial Methods & Lean Manufacturing Lead will oversee the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of Pulse Nova's manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-quality production processes.The role is responsible for driving Lean transformation, industrializing new products, improving productivity and operational performance, and establishing standardized manufacturing methods that support the joint venture's commitment to operational excellence, quality, and sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesDefine and continuously optimize manufacturing methods, process flows and workstation design to meet takt, quality, safety and ergonomics targetsLead Lean deployment on the shopfloor (5S, visual management, standard work, problem‑solving routines) and ensure sustainability through auditsPerform time studies, line balancing and capacity modelling to support ramp‑up, staffing plans and S&OP inputsOwn and maintain process documentation with strong change control (standard work, work instructions, layouts, control points, etc.)Drive productivity and cost reductions through structured CI projects with measurable ROI (labor productivity, scrap/rework reduction, lead time)Support introduction of new equipment, tooling and fixtures, ensuring robust process qualification and safe industrialization (incl. validation runs)Coach Team Leaders and operators in Lean principles and daily CI habits, building a continuous improvement cultureRequirements+8-10 years in Industrial Engineering / Methods / Lean roles in manufacturing environments (electronics, aerospace, industrial or similar)Proven experience improving flow and stability (OEE, cycle time, throughput, labor productivity) through Lean tools and data‑driven analysisHands‑on experience with structured CI methodologies (A3, DMAIC, Kaizen) and practical shopfloor implementation/sustainmentSolid understanding of quality fundamentals (process capability, control plans, defect containment) and documentation/traceability disciplineLean Six Sigma certification (preferred) or equivalent demonstrated expertise leading Kaizen and coaching shop floor teams
