This includes driving robust client onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and a strong AML/CFT framework that keeps pace with the region's evolving regulatory landscape.Role PurposeThe successful candidate will support the day-to-day Compliance and AML/CFT activities of the department, including client onboarding reviews, KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions screening, risk assessments, compliance monitoring, record keeping, and mandatory staff training.This is an Analyst/Executive-level role focused on hands-on delivery of core Compliance and AML/CFT activities under the direction of the Head of Compliance; it is not intended for candidates with senior managerial or Head of Compliance-level experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport KYC, CDD and EDD reviews, including higher-risk customer assessments.Conduct and document customer risk assessments.Perform sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening and escalate potential matches.Support AML/CFT and sanctions compliance activities.Review onboarding documentation and identify compliance deficiencies.Assist with ongoing compliance monitoring and periodic reviews.Maintain appropriate compliance records, trackers and supporting documentation.Assist in preparing compliance reports and management information.Support implementation of Compliance policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Assist with regulatory requests, internal reviews and audits where required.Support the preparation and delivery of AML/CFT and Compliance training to employees, including training in Arabic.Support the Head of Compliance with other day-to-day compliance matters.Essential RequirementsApproximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in AML/KYC/Compliance.Preference for candidates currently or previously working within the Compliance/AML function of a UAE exchange house, financial institution, fintech or similar regulated business.Hands-on understanding of KYC, CDD, EDD, AML/CFT, sanctions/PEP screening and customer risk assessment.Professional fluency in Arabic is mandatory, including the ability to confidently conduct staff training and explain compliance requirements in Arabic.Good command of English, both written and verbal.Must hold a bachelor's degree (required for visa purposes).DesirableBasic understanding of digital assets/cryptocurrency and associated financial-crime risks.CAMS, ICA, CISI or other relevant AML/Compliance qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).Core SkillsStrong communication skills.Strong analytical skills.Strong documentation skills.LocationDubaiBenefitsVisaMedical insuranceBonuses
