Senior Structural Technical Office Engineer - – Hospital ProjectProject: Hospital / Healthcare ProjectWe are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Technical Office Engineer to join our team for a major hospital project in the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and coordinate structural drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents.Prepare and review structural shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submissions.Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.Review structural design drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and constructability issues.Prepare and review RFIs, technical queries, method statements, material submittals, and technical reports.Review consultant comments and ensure timely incorporation and closure.Prepare quantity take-offs, material calculations, and technical/engineering evaluations.Assist in the preparation and evaluation of variations, claims, and cost implications related to structural works.Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.Monitor structural works against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Review subcontractor/supplier technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications.Maintain proper documentation and technical records throughout the project.Participate in technical meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.8–12+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering and technical office roles.Strong experience in building construction projects, preferably hospital, healthcare, high-rise, or large-scale commercial projects.Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel works.Experience with shop drawings, structural coordination, technical submittals, RFIs, quantity take-offs, and variations.Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.Strong ability to read and interpret structural drawings and design documents.Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
