Requirements
Candidates must have 15-20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in large, capital-intensive, or project-driven organizations, with significant experience in the construction or contracting sector. Proven track record in strategic finance, FP&A, treasury, and board-level stakeholder engagement is essential. Deep expertise in project accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and contracting risk is required. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) and ERP experience are also necessary.

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established, capital-intensive group operating across multiple construction and infrastructure verticals in the UAE and backed by one of the region's most recognised institutional investors.As the business continues to scale, they are looking for a Head of Finance, a senior leader who brings both strategic vision and the operational depth to run a complex, multi-entity, project-driven finance function.This is a seat at the leadership table. And it's not a steady-state role.What You'll Own- Strategic Financial Leadership Set the financial direction for the group — long-range planning, annual budgets, rolling forecasts — and act as a true strategic partner to the CEO and Board on capital allocation and growth decisions.- Project & Commercial Finance End-to-end financial oversight of large, complex projects across the group's construction verticals — owning project costing, revenue recognition, margin tracking, and working closely with operations and commercial teams on contract evaluation, pricing, and claims management.- Commercial Performance & Capital Management Margin improvement, cost optimisation, and working capital discipline.
