Requirements
Requires marine and offshore industry experience, including marine cargo handling. Preferably 3-5 years in the petrochemical industry. Must have working knowledge of Control of Work Processes, familiar with quality processes and Continuous Improvement tools. Computer experience with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite is required. Must pass site-specific drug and alcohol test and be able to meet physical requirements including lifting, working in confined spaces and at heights.

Wood is recruiting for an Offshore Vessel Operator – Adhoc (Casual /Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis. 

 

The Role 

Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador 

Site / Office based: Terra Nova FPSO 

Hours of work: 12 hours per day 

Rotation / work pattern: Call out, as needed 

Required: Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing 

Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement 

You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures.
