The successful candidate will ensure stock accuracy, maintain appropriate storage and handling standards, coordinate stock movements, and support the timely delivery of tires to required locations.This is an operational role that requires strong attention to detail, inventory control expertise, and preferably experience within the tire or automotive spare parts industry.What You Will DoInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records, including tire quantities, sizes, brands, specifications, and costs.Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the inventory management system.Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.Receiving & Stock RecordingInspect and verify incoming tire shipments against relevant documentation.Ensure batch numbers, production dates, labels, and other required information are accurately recorded.Coordinate the loading and movement of tires to service centres and customers.Warehouse Operations & StorageEnsure tires are stored in line with appropriate warehouse, safety, and quality standards.Ensure the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory method is consistently applied.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.Ensure tires are handled correctly to prevent damage, deformation, or quality issues.Reporting & CompliancePrepare and maintain reports related to damaged tires, stock movements, and inventory variances.Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions where required.Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards.Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate closely with Service Centre Managers to understand and fulfil stock requirements.Work with Logistics teams to coordinate unloading schedules and incoming shipments.Ensure timely availability and movement of tires to support business operations.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant discipline.2–5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or stock control operations.Experience managing large stock volumes and multiple SKUs/articles.Previous experience within the tire, automotive, or spare parts industry is strongly preferred.Practical knowledge of tire stock handling would be an advantage.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Basic accounting knowledge would be an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and coordination skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good time-management and organisational skills.Proactive, hardworking, and motivated approach.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and take on additional responsibilities when required.
