About the role
We are looking for a young, dynamic and commercially minded financial analyst to join our finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical strong professional who strives in a fast-paced retail environment. You will partner with the business, providing financial insights and supporting planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision-making.
What you'll do
Functional roles and responsibilities:
Support management on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, management accounting and MIS reporting.
Partner with business and central functions on annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Prepare and consolidate financial reports and support timely month-end and year-end closing.
Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost control.
Monitor budgets, expenses, payments, inventory and working capital.
Support cash-flow forecasting, credit control and debtor ageing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS and applicable tax requirements.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, consultants and suppliers.
Provide accurate financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
What we're looking for
CA qualification is a must.
We are looking for someone who is:
CA qualified with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience.
Ideally experienced within retail, consumer business or fast-paced commercial environment.
Young, dynamic, agile and commercially focused, with a hands-on approach.
Strong in financial analysis, numerical reasoning and problem solving.
Highly proficient in Excel with experience working with ERP systems.
Knowledgeable in IFRS and international accounting practices.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English.
Strong interpersonal skills.
