Requirements
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Automotive / Power)Fleet Maintenance studies are an advantage.Solid experience with the logistics field & Heavy trucking.Ability to deal with people of different backgrounds.Excellent Time Management Skills.At least 5 years of experience in the same role.At least 3 years of experience in Mobile Equipment Maintenance.Previous experience in the maintenance of Volvo & Mercedes heavy trucks.Previous experience in the maintenance of 2box & Silo trailers.Experience with diagnostic devices is an advantage.

Review all planned work request from assigned area and determine validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.Work with Stores to manage spare part usage to maximize turns but minimize risk of using critical spares.Provide a total cost estimate for the work to be performed: labor, material, and outside services.Works with Maintenance leads, supervisors and planners to determine resource availability and work to level the work force.Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources: maintenance, operation, outside services, stores and engineering.Manage, lead, guide and make the necessary planning to a group of preventive and corrective maintenance engineers, specialists and planners and follow-up their performance together with the work routines in a way that ensures the achievement of departmental goals.Plan all spare parts, Tires, Lubricants, manpower and external, long life for parts, KMS and follow up brands.Study, review and recommend the technical solutions and repairs for OSTOOL equipment’s to ensure their compatibility to existing equipment and increases its availability and reliability within approved maintenance cost budget.Coordinates with site manager’s execution of maintenance plan to reduce downtime and follow customer plan.Escalates issues to the Maintenance Director for work which does not appear to be valid or costly.
