The successful candidate will provide expert care for newborn infants, particularly those who are premature or critically ill, in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat newborns with a broad range of medical conditions including prematurity, congenital disorders, and perinatal complications.
Provide comprehensive management in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), including invasive procedures like intubation and central line placement.
Work collaboratively with pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical rounds.
Counsel and support parents and families regarding neonatal health issues and care plans.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records and documentation.
