Requirements
Previous experience as an Able Seaman or deck crew member is required. Valid STCW Basic Safety Training, CDC, and medical fitness certificates are necessary. Candidates must possess good swimming ability, knowledge of marine safety procedures and PPE, be physically fit, and demonstrate good personal hygiene, discipline, reliability, and teamwork.

We are looking for a suitable and experienced candidate for the position of Able Seaman (AB) on a dredger.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily deck operations and dredging-related activities.Assist with mooring, anchoring, berthing, and unberthing operations.Handle ropes, wires, anchors, and other deck equipment safely.Assist with the operation and maintenance of deck machinery and equipment.Carry out general deck maintenance, including cleaning, painting, chipping, greasing, and preservation work.Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the deck and work areas.Assist the Deck Officer during dredging operations as instructed.Follow all vessel safety procedures, company policies, and instructions from senior officers.Wear and correctly use all required PPE.Participate in emergency drills, firefighting, lifesaving, and other safety exercises.Report unsafe conditions, hazards, equipment defects, and incidents to the responsible officer.Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and handling of equipment and materials when required.Maintain good personal hygiene and discipline onboard.Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Master or Deck Officer.Minimum RequirementsPrevious experience as an Able Seaman or deck crew member.Previous experience on a dredger or other marine vessel is preferred.Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates.Valid CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate).Valid medical fitness certificate.Good swimming ability.Good knowledge of marine safety procedures, PPE, and safe working practices.Physically fit and capable of performing general deck duties.Good personal hygiene, discipline, reliability, and teamwork.Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a marine crew
