Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration, with 2-4 years of experience in export logistics, international shipping, order management, or supply chain operations. Hands-on experience with SAP is required, and experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred. Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a very good command of English.

Export Logistics SpecialistIndustry: FMCG – Multinational CompanyLocation: EgyptExperience: 2–4 yearsA leading multinational FMCG company is looking for an Export Logistics Specialist to join its supply chain and logistics team. The role will be responsible for managing export orders, shipment planning, shipping line coordination, logistics documentation, and delivery performance.Key ResponsibilitiesExport Order Management & ExecutionCreate and release monthly export orders through SAP.Coordinate and confirm vessel bookings for export shipments.Monitor and adjust order GI dates in line with agreed shipment schedules.Re-adjust vessel bookings based on changes to shipment dates and requirements.Maintain and finalize shipment information in the TMS.Update shipment plans in response to container availability and vessel schedule changes.Ensure all shipment milestones are completed accurately and on time.Shipment Planning & LoadingMaintain and regularly review truck loading configurations.Coordinate daily loading plans and ensure orders are released for loading as scheduled.Monitor shipment readiness and proactively address potential delays.Carrier & Shipping Line CoordinationCoordinate with shipping lines regarding vessel bookings and container availability.Follow up regularly with shipping lines to obtain updated ETS and ETA information.Escalate and resolve booking, vessel, and shipment-related issues.Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate daily with country logistics teams to align loading plans and shipment requirements.Participate in weekly Business Unit and destination meetings to ensure alignment on shipment arrivals.Prepare and share regular shipment status updates with relevant stakeholders.Export DocumentationPrepare and complete all required export shipment documentation.Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timelines.Follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve any documentation discrepancies.Performance Tracking & ReportingMonitor VFR performance and Demurrage & Detention (D&D) charges per order.Support and drive initiatives to improve VFR performance.Monitor transit time adherence and On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.Prepare and follow up on relevant logistics performance reports.Lane Management & Continuous ImprovementSupport logistics lane management activities and related initiatives.Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at enhancing shipment efficiency and service levels.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in export logistics, international shipping, order management, or supply chain operations.Experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred.Hands-on experience with SAP is required.Experience with TMS or similar transportation management systems is an advantage.Good knowledge of export procedures, shipping operations, vessel bookings, and logistics documentation.Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Very good command of English.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
