Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Lead management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in ICU.
Provide advanced organ support including ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination and sepsis care.
Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring according to privileges.
Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy and allied health teams.
Guide family communication, goals-of-care discussions and ethical decision-making.
Support ICU protocols, infection prevention, audit, simulation training and quality improvement.
