The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Chinese, with strong hands-on experience in Alibaba Cloud, Grafana, QuickBI, and building custom business reports using AI-enabled tools and code-driven workflows. A deep understanding of APIs, data warehouse terms, data integration concepts, and BPM/Workflow Solutions is required, along with a proven track record of producing key project documentation like BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process maps, sequence diagrams, scope documents, and UAT plans.

OneBullEx is looking for a highly technical, AI-forward Business Analyst to take end-to-end ownership of bridging business operations and data engineering. In this role, you will gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the Data Engineering team — leveraging modern AI-assisted development, reusable templates, and automated workflows to rapidly build complete, high-quality dashboards and custom reports in Grafana and QuickBI.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & Technical DocumentationPartner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.Translate complex business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications for the Data Engineering team.Produce and maintain key project documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process maps, sequence diagrams, scope documents, and UAT plans.Support project planning by tracking milestones, maintaining issue logs, monitoring progress, and ensuring documentation remains strictly up to date.Cross-Functional Collaboration & DeliveryWork closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, UX/UI Designers, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful solution delivery.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering sessions to align business objectives with backend technical solutions.Collaborate with QA teams during testing cycles and actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet exact business requirements.Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating them proactively to support on-time project delivery.Process Optimisation & InnovationAnalyse existing business processes to identify concrete opportunities for automation, optimisation, and continuous operational improvement.Evaluate operational, financial, and technology-related risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate potential issues.Support the creation of wireframes, prototypes, process diagrams, and workflow documentation to clearly communicate business logic.Monitor product performance post-implementation, gather user feedback, and recommend enhancements to improve customer experience and internal adoption.Required QualificationsFluent bilingual in English and Chinese, spoken and written, for seamless collaboration with regional stakeholders.Strong hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud, Grafana, QuickBI, and building custom business reports.Demonstrated ability to use AI-enabled tools and code-driven workflows to rapidly generate dashboards and scale reporting templates.Deep understanding of APIs, data warehouse terms (DWD, DWS, ADS, ODS), data integration concepts, and BPM/Workflow Solutions.Proven track record producing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process maps, sequence diagrams, scope documents, and UAT plans.PreferredExperience facilitating workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with senior stakeholders.Background evaluating operational, financial, and technology-related risk.Exposure to wireframing, prototyping, and process-diagramming tools.Prior experience working alongside a Data Engineering team on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure.
