Requirements
Required:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging or equivalentValid professional license (DHA or eligibility to obtain DHA license) as a Radiology TechnicianExperience in ultrasound and/or diagnostic imaging in a clinical settingStrong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and qualityPreferred:Experience with DEXA and/or liver elastographyExposure to multidisciplinary or specialty clinics (endocrinology, metabolic health, cardiology, etc.)Willingness to cross-train and expand skill sets across modalitiesIMMEDIATE STARTER - PRIORITYUnderstands, follows and supports all hospital infection control programsSkills & Attributes:Patient-centred and empathetic approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAdaptable and eager to learn new technologies and techniquesOrganized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentComfortable with digital systems and electronic medical records

Location: 268 Al Wasl Rd, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, AND/OR Grove Mall, Al Barsha, DubaiWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Radiology Technician to join our growing clinical team. The successful candidate will support a range of diagnostic imaging and screening services and is expected to demonstrate flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to learn and support multiple imaging modalities as part of Glucare’s integrated care model.This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working in a progressive clinical environment, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, and contributing to continuous improvement and future service expansion.Key responsibilities:Imaging & Diagnostic Support:Perform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsPrepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and ensure patient comfort and dignity at all timesAccurately document findings, measurements, and technical details in the EMR systemEnsure imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safelyModalities & Clinical Scope:The technician will be expected to learn, perform, and support multiple modalities, including but not limited to:a) OSA ScreeningSupport obstructive sleep apnea screening workflows as part of metabolic and cardiometabolic assessmentsAssist clinicians with device setup, patient instruction, and data handlingb) Ultrasound ImagingAbdominal ultrasoundThyroid ultrasoundLiver elastographyVascular DopplersTesticular ultrasoundOther relevant ultrasound studies as requiredc) DEXA Scanning:Perform DEXA scans for body composition and bone density analysisEnsure correct patient positioning, protocol selection, and data accuracyd) Muscle Ultrasound (Future Implementation):Participate in training and implementation of muscle ultrasound servicesSupport protocol development and clinical integration once launched3. Collaboration & Quality:Work closely with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic decision-makingAdhere to infection control, radiation safety (where applicable), and clinic policiesParticipate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing trainingContribute to the evolution of imaging services as Glucare expands its diagnostic capabilities
