You will be responsible for the preparation of tax compliance deliverables, including but not limited to Monthly Sales and Use Tax Filings and Returns Payment (Indirect Taxes), and Monthly Foreign Withholding Taxes compilations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Preparation of tax compliance deliverables, including but not limited to various U.S. Federal, International, and State Corporate Income Tax packages, annual information report filings, Monthly and Quarterly Sales and Use Tax filings, Tax Withholding Management, other Sales Tax Duties, Commercial activity tax, Property tax filings, Form 1042 and Form 1099.

  • Reconciling transaction tax general ledger accounts, return-to-provision analysis, and other ad-hoc tasks.

  • Apply appropriate internal controls in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedure (CP&P) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions for continuous improvements within the department so the Tax group can operate efficiently and effectively

  • Assist with special projects assigned or requested by POC or tax department that will reduce manual processes and increase automation of reports and data analytic processes

  • Prepare documentation of automated processes to ensure longevity and transferability.

  • Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other 4-year Finance courses; preferably a Certified Public Accountant.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and US or local tax transactions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Office365 applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart

  • Working knowledge of Oracle FCC, OneSource, or other tax software or comparable systems is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps is a plus.
