Description
Overview:As a Senior SAP Data Engineer (S4/HANA FICO) inour team, you will be responsible for assessing complex new data sources with a variety of SAP source system and quickly turning these into business insights ready data sets. You also will develop and support the implementation and integration of these new data sources into our SAP Data platform.Key Attributes:Experience: 10+ years of data engineering experience with extensive involvement in S4 HANA implementations, especially data migration.Technical Skills: Proficient in BODS, SQL Server, IDOC, LTMC, and other data migration tools.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Data Management: Oversee data cleansing, quality, standardization, and harmonization for finance-related master data.Collaboration: Work closely with BPOs, system integrators, and finance consultants to align migration processes with business rules and timelines.Reporting: Provide regular updates and status reports to management and ensure migration compliance with audit and risk standards.Key Competencies:Strong project management skills to handle timelines, priorities, and cross-team coordination.Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.Proven track record of delivering data migration steps aligned with S4 HANA FICO project timelines.Ideal Candidate:Someone with a solid technical foundation in data migration tools, hands-on S4 HANA experience, and excellent communication skills, who can seamlessly collaborate with diverse teams while ensuring data quality and compliance.
