Job description
We are looking for a senior manager to join our Quantum - Expert Services team in Dubai. In this role you'll provide advisory services to clients seeking to enhance their commercial performance and corporate governance including the introduction and improvement of project controls and risk management.
This is a United Arab Emirates based role that will require some national and international travel.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Leading quantum analysis - deliver structured quantum assessments and support senior experts involved in international arbitration and litigation.
Developing expert report inputs - prepare analytical sections, draft supporting materials, and coordinate data for final expert reports.
Supporting clients in ADR - work closely with clients and their advisors on complex major projects, providing commercial and analytical support throughout dispute and claims processes.
Reviewing project documentation - analyse documents across sectors such as infrastructure, oil & gas, and residential to identify key commercial and quantum issues.
Preparing presentations and proposals - contribute to the development of client-facing materials, including proposals, reports, and presentations.
Coordinating project team activities - oversee day-to-day task allocation, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality delivery across the project team.
Monitoring budgets and fees - track project financials, support fee reporting, and assist with client discussions on scope and commercial matters.
Drafting fee and project proposals - prepare fee proposals and scopes of work for medium-to-large engagements.
Developing team capability - support the training, mentoring, and professional development of junior team members.
Providing commercial advisory support - assist clients in improving commercial performance, project controls, governance, and risk management practices.
Building client relationships - attend industry events, seminars, and client engagements to strengthen networks and support business development.
Essential traits:
Degree level education in a construction or quantity surveying related field
Relevant MSc would be an advantage
MSCSI/MRICS qualified or equivalent
Ideally 7-10 years of related industry experience
Ideally 2+ years' experience of performing detailed quantum forensic analysis
Experience of drafting project and expert reports
Experience of managing a wider project team
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and comfortable with large sets of data
Excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and exceptional report writing skills
Energetic, pro-active and professional
Inquisitive and curious to learn more about the industry and field
Bilingual in Arabic and English (preferred)
