Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced ENT consultants, audiologists, speech therapists, paediatricians, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive adult and paediatric hearing assessments using appropriate audiometric test batteries.
Perform pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions and other diagnostic hearing assessments according to scope.
Provide hearing aid evaluation, selection, fitting, verification, counselling and follow-up care.
Support tinnitus management, balance screening and vestibular assessments according to facility scope.
Assess and manage patients with hearing loss, auditory disorders and communication-related hearing needs.
Provide paediatric audiology services including hearing screening, assessment and follow-up where applicable.
Collaborate with ENT consultants, speech therapists, paediatricians and rehabilitation teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on hearing loss, hearing aid use, device care, communication strategies and long-term hearing management.
Maintain equipment calibration awareness, accurate clinical documentation, infection control and quality standards.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
