Additionally, 2 years of experience in a team leader capacity is preferred. Strong knowledge of operations, excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and time management skills are essential.
Description
Responsibilities Prepare resource allocation in collaboration with the operations supervisor, based on demand in order to achieve the agreed objectives and to optimize resources. Prepare and deliver catering equipment in a timely and effective manner in coordination with various stake holders. Delegate and supervise the team members in the preparation, dispatch and loading of catering items to ensure that the process is optimized, timely and meets all safety and quality standards. Support the team members in their training needs to perform their jobs safely & efficiently by providing them guidance, resolving any performance or operational issues, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. Lead BBSM (Behaviour based safety management) checks observed by the team members to minimise food safety hazards & to comply with department SOP's and regulations. Facilitate in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, tracking usage, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the necessary products / equipment's are readily available to meet passenger demand, while minimizing waste and optimizing costs. Identify areas for improvement and propose plans to address them in order to enhance the efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience.QualificationsEducation Qualification:Diploma or equivalent qualification (Must have)Work ExperienceYears of Experience: 3 yearsArea of Experience: Flight Operations, Food Packing or Logistics function preferably in the Airline Catering Industry and/or Food Industry2 years exposure in a team leader capacity (preferred)SkillsStrong knowledge and understanding of operations, e.g.: resource allocation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other stakeholders.Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.Effective time management and prioritization skills to ensure smooth operations within tight deadlines.
