Requirements
  • Diploma or technical certification in civil engineering, construction, or interior fit-out (preferred). Ø 3–6 years of hands-on site experience in interior fit-out, interior design, or construction projects. Ø Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, erection, dismantling, and inspection procedures. Ø Understanding of construction and interior fit-out site activities and access requirements. Ø Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards, HSE regulations, and safe working practices. Ø Ability to read scaffold drawings, layouts, and work instructions. Ø Familiarity with different types of scaffolding such as mobile towers, tube & clamp, and modular systems. Ø Ability to supervise scaffolders and coordinate daily site activities efficiently. Ø Knowledge of load capacities, stability requirements, and safe access arrangements. Ø Ability to identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions immediately. Ø Good communication and teamwork skills with site engineers, HSE team, and subcontractors. Ø Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ø Ability to work under pressure and meet project schedules. Ø Knowledge of inspection tagging systems and scaffold handover procedures. Ø Familiarity with PPE requirements and emergency safety procedures. Ø Basic reporting and documentation skills.

Ø Ensure scaffolding works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and safety requirements. Ø Allocate daily tasks to scaffolders and monitor workforce productivity. Ø Inspect scaffolding materials before use and ensure damaged components are removed from service. Ø Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and HSE team regarding scaffold access requirements. Ø Ensure all scaffolding structures are properly tagged, inspected, and safe for use. Ø Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, PPE usage, and safe working practices. Ø Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for scaffolding teams. Ø Ensure scaffolding stability, load capacity, and safe access arrangements are always maintained. Ø Identify and report unsafe conditions, risks, and site hazards immediately. Ø Maintain records of scaffold inspections, material movement, and workforce activities. Ø Coordinate scaffolding activities to support fit-out, MEP, ceiling, painting, and finishing works. Ø Ensure proper housekeeping around scaffolding work areas and material storage locations. Ø Monitor scaffold material usage and report shortages or damages to site management. Ø Support site inspections, audits, and project handover activities. Ø Ensure timely completion of scaffolding activities in line with project schedules. Ø Authority to stop unsafe scaffolding activities or restrict access to unsafe scaffold areas. Ø Authority to report non-compliance, unsafe acts, and damaged scaffold materials to management.
