Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Engineering Services Job purpose To support Barakah projects development and initiatives for an effective and efficient usage of Barakah site, aligned with the organizational urban development strategy and goals, in alignment with the stakeholder framework to support various functions within the Barakah site in cooperation with other concerned enterprise functions. Key activities, responsibility & accountability Development and planning activities Responsibilities and accountabilities: Study and draft Barakah projects development and planning proposals, initiatives and offer recommendations for improvements and implementation to the manager. Check the alignment of the existing and future Barakah projects development and initiatives with the best urban planning and urban design practices. Capture lessons learned and recommendations and share with project development lead for consideration in the project planning stages and Barakah site future development projects, including projects for site infrastructure, utilities, facilities, accommodation, landscaping and amenities and any similar related projects. Support in the project planning survey exercises and the coordination with internal departments. Site power allocation management Responsibilities and accountabilities: Plan, develop and support the Barakah Electrical Information System (BNPP ELIS) in coordination with Geographic Information System (GIS) and other related enterprise departments, to allow real-time monitoring and management of all current and future electrical infrastructure outside the protected area. Study the Power Allocation Request Program (PARP) requests, load analysis, site walkdown, modifications in consultation with the Electrical Engineering Team, the Engineering Department - COO and any other related teams. Forward the PARP form and all necessary documentation to ENEC DCRM for further processing. Update the PARP database with the characteristics of the PARP request (Reserved Load) after the PARP approval and with the characteristics of the actual load connected (Allocated Load) or disconnected (Returned Load). Creative design solutions Responsibilities and accountabilities: Recommend creative design solutions and implement design changes in master planning proposals and plans. Organize and graphically present solutions, plans and alternatives for Barakah planning projects, to company stakeholders, as required. Project progress and proposals reporting Responsibilities and accountabilities: Act as Barakah project department activities controller by doing a regular review of the project's progress and identifying areas for improvement. Issue regular reports about Barakah project department project's progress including the time and cost update. Have an active role in information and analysis dissemination for high-level decision-making reports, summarize, present, analyze geospatial and development projects and proposals to the manager and to senior management as required, in collaboration with project development lead. Develop and present scope of work (SoW) and requests for proposals (RFP) for Barakah projects. Compliance activities in coordination with the enterprise departments Responsibilities and accountabilities: Assist in compliance activities during construction stage (with the support of HSE teams) for the KPI targets settings, risk management, oversighting/site inspections, emergency management, HSE meetings, competency/trainings and audits. Support in Barakah master planning and other planning projects proposals and initiatives to follow government codes. Review the procedures and highlight the gaps and areas of improvements to support the local companies to increase their participation in the site and supporting ENEC business development strategy. Stakeholder engagement Responsibilities and accountabilities: Facilitate communication both internally and externally to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships. Coordinate with all relevant Barakah stakeholders and technical disciplines, be aware of all infrastructure site conditions and infrastructure development projects and initiatives and ensure proper alignment between development projects and any infrastructure development projects and initiatives in Barakah and detect any possible conflicts. Develop procedures and processes Responsibilities and accountabilities: Develop procedures and processes for Barakah projects development, at all stages of planning and implementation to ensure high quality and consistent output.
