The position supervises pool and beach attendants, coordinates daily operations, monitors facilities and equipment, and ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily operations of the swimming pool and beach areas.Lead, motivate, train, and monitor the performance of Pool & Beach Attendants and Lifeguards.Ensure the pool and beach areas are clean, organized, safe, and well-presented at all times.Conduct regular inspections of pool, beach, sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, showers, changing areas, and other facilities.Ensure all pool and beach equipment is properly maintained, stored, and used safely.Monitor pool water quality and ensure appropriate testing and recording are carried out according to hotel and regulatory standards.Ensure lifeguard coverage and safety procedures are maintained at all times during operating hours.Monitor guest activities around the pool and beach and intervene promptly when unsafe behavior is observed.Ensure all safety, emergency, hygiene, and operating procedures are strictly followed.Welcome guests, provide information about pool and beach facilities, and promote available services and activities.Assist guests with sun loungers, towels, umbrellas, cabanas, and other pool/beach requirements.Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Recreation, and other departments to maintain smooth operations.Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or other concerns immediately to the appropriate department.Ensure adequate supplies of towels, amenities, cleaning materials, and operational equipment.Monitor and control departmental inventory and report shortages or damaged items.Conduct daily team briefings and communicate important operational information to staff.Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties according to operational requirements, where applicable.Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are completed for the pool and beach areas.Maintain accurate records of pool water testing, incidents, maintenance issues, lost and found items, and other departmental activities.Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported immediately and documented according to hotel procedures.Assist in emergency situations and coordinate with Security,Not the right fit Set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!
