Position objective
This job provides a personal service to each client specializing in modifications and adjustments. The tailor will complete repair works and alterations to suit a customer’s needs. The customer will then come back to the shop for a fitting and to see if further alterations are needed.
Key responsibilities
Be able to communicate clearly and provide personal customer service
Have the ability to work to deadlines
Complete alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine
Adapt and develop existing designs
Draw patterns or alter existing patterns
Press garments
Perform other related duties as required
